Outfall Inventory

The MS4 module starts with a complete inventory of your stormwater outfalls.

Adding an Outfall

1. Go to MS4 → Outfalls.
2. Click + Add Outfall.
3. Enter:
   • Outfall ID — Your internal designation
   • Location — Address or click the map to place a pin with lat/long coordinates
   • Receiving Water — Name of the stream, river, or waterbody
   • Pipe Diameter and Material
   • Drainage Area — Contributing area in acres
   • Land Use — Residential, commercial, industrial, mixed
4. Click Save.

GIS Map View

All outfalls appear on an interactive GIS map. Color-coded markers indicate status:

• 🟢 Green — Inspected and compliant
• 🟡 Yellow — Inspection due soon
• 🔴 Red — Overdue or active IDDE investigation

Dry-Weather Screening

Record dry-weather screening results directly on the outfall record. The system tracks screening dates and flags outfalls overdue for screening.
