Tester Certification Tracking
SmartComply maintains a registry of certified backflow testers who submit results in your jurisdiction.
Adding a Tester
- Go to Backflow → Testers.
- Click + Add Tester.
- Enter their name, company, phone, email, certification number, certifying body, and certification expiration date.
- Click Save.
Expiration Alerts
The system automatically flags testers whose certifications are expiring within 60 days or have already expired. Expired testers are blocked from submitting new test results until their certification is renewed.
Portal Access
Enable portal access for a tester from their profile page. This gives them a login to the External Tester Portal where they can submit test results electronically.
